Meet the team

In his own words:

I believe in the arts' ability to transform, inspire and enlighten our everyday lives. It's a passion that I discovered as a young boy through my family and their enjoyment of the arts. Due to this culturally rich upbringing I naturally sought employment in the arts, and for the past 20 years have worked in various roles across a wide range of disciplines including the National Centre for Circus Arts in London, where I learnt to perform flying trapeze (I was younger then!), the Stills Photography Gallery in Edinburgh, QUAD visual arts centre in Derby and the amazing Curve Theatre in Leicester.

Throughout my career my roles have focused primarily on generating new income through fundraising and commercial ventures to support the work of arts organisations. It is a role that I have always found personally rewarding, as it enables people of all ages, cultures, abilities and interests to access and become inspired by art. My role at the National Youth Choir is no different, and through our fundraising work we enable thousands of young choral singers, school children, composers and leaders to benefit from the rich learning and performance experiences which this truly inspiring and life-changing organisation offers.

For the National Youth Choir:

Rob is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and responsible for fundraising, strategic partner relations, donor relations and the National Youth Choir Friends Scheme.
