Please note that a Singer Portal login is not the same thing as a login for our ticket booking system or sign-ups to our newsletter. If you are struggling to log in to the Singer Portal, please try 'forgotten password' first, then 'register for a new account' if you do not receive a 'forgotten password' email.

How to book an audition on the Singer Portal

All our online audition slots are available to book through our online Singer Portal. In order to book an audition, you need to either create an account or log in to an existing account, if you have one from registering from a previous National Youth Choir audition.

• If you are under 18 years old, your Singer Portal account will need to be managed by a parent, guardian or carer on your behalf, using their email address
• If you are over 18 years old, you can manage your own Singer Portal account using your own email address

Once audition booking has opened, it is possible to book a slot via your Singer Portal account, choosing from a range of dates and times. These are offered on a first come, first served basis so don’t delay as some dates get fully booked up!

1. Log in or register for a Singer Portal account. If you have never registered to audition for the National Youth Choir before, you will need to create a new account by heading to the Singer Portal and click 'Register' which appears in light grey next to the words 'Log in'. Please note, the 'Register' button may not appear until the start of the official audition booking period.
2. Click on the Auditions section on the left-hand side once you are successfully logged in
3. Select your preferred audition date and time for the choir that you/your young singer is eligible to join. All available time slots will appear so, if no slots are shown, the date is fully allocated; please select your next preferred date. 
4. Fill in required information to complete your booking. 
5. Make an optional donation. We rely on donations from supporters like you to keep our auditions free and open to everyone. If you would not like to make an optional donation, you can click 'Skip and complete booking'.
6. Check you have received your confirmation email to make sure that your booking has been completed successfully and that we hold your correct details. If you can't see it in your normal inbox, please check your junk folder - and if you can't see it at all, please get in touch with us!

Forgotten your password?

1. Visit the 'Forgotten password?' page - Visit password reset page
2. Enter your email address and click 'Submit'
   • If you receive an email, click the blue box 'Reset my password' to be taken to a new page where you can choose a new password
   • If you don't receive an email, you may be trying to enter an email address which doesn't have a Singer Portal account attached to it. You can try submitting a different email to the 'Reset my password' page or get in touch with us to ask us to manually reset your password for you. If you have never booked an audition before, you will need to register for a new account on the Singer Portal.

I already have a Singer Portal account but want to book an audition for a different young person

1. Log in to your existing Singer Portal account - do NOT select ‘Register’
2. Select 'Profile' and 'Add child' to add another young singer who has never registered to audition for the National Youth Choir to your account
3. Under ‘Child’, select the name of the young singer who you want to book the audition for from the drop-down list; their name will appear when you scroll into the white box. Select ‘Switch’ to reach their Profile.
4. Select ‘Auditions’
5. Click ‘Available to Book’ alongside the audition date which is most convenient for your young singer and complete the booking process as above.
