Building on the strong foundations laid in 2023 – our 40th anniversary year – 2023-24 has been another exciting year for the National Youth Choir, developing creative and learning excellence and empowering young people to reap the benefits of singing together.

We have continued to grow new, accessible pathways so that more young people from the widest range of backgrounds are able to be part of our National Youth Choir community. This includes supporting young singers as they discover their voice and passion for singing, as well as our targeted work to support emerging professional musicians in the choral workforce. To support our ambitions to shape an innovative, inclusive and relevant choral sector, in 2023-24 we launched an exciting campaign to ‘Give All Young People A Voice!’ aiming to raise £2.75 million by 2027. We are delighted to share with you this impact report which – thanks to the support achieved so far – shows the difference we make for young people nationwide and celebrates some of our community’s highlights from the past year. We would like to extend our thanks to our hardworking staff team and dedicated trustees who make all of this possible.
