Meet the team

In her own words:

Since graduating with a degree in German and Scandinavian Studies (a clue as to my favourite National Youth Choir release!), I have always been drawn to working in impactful cultural and arts organisations. This has included managing language and culture projects and initiatives at University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh University Students’ Association, as well as fundraising roles at Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books in Newcastle, and most recently the Edinburgh Science Festival. It is really the best feeling ever to see the difference that funders make to young people’s lives through supporting arts and culture to ensure anyone can take part. Having grown up in a music-rich family, I have always loved music and music-making by playing my violin (and lately trying my hand at composing too), and I am so proud to be working with the National Youth Choir to enable hundreds of young people discover their own joy and musical talents each year!

For the National Youth Choir:

Blythe works with Rob on fundraising, partnerships and donor relationships. She looks after the National Youth Choir Friends Scheme and is leading on our Big Give campaign.
