Offering young people with opportunities to thrive has been at the heart of my work for the last couple of decades. Having spent 14 years working in secondary education, I was fortunate enough to work in schools that excelled in offering extra-curricular opportunities in the arts and residential trips. It was this area of the job that I missed the most, so I was thrilled when an opportunity came up for me to become part of the pastoral team on the National Youth Choir residentials. I loved working with the organisation so much that I applied for a permanent role as Project Manager. I feel so blessed to be working for such a wonderful organisation and with creative staff who are incredibly passionate about creating singing opportunities for young people.
