Angela is Finance Director at Saffron Hall Trust, a music charity with an award-winning concert hall uniquely located within a state school.

Prior to that, Angela specialised in scaling up technology start-ups, having supported the growth of the UK technology company Arm from a start-up to a FTSE-100 company with a dual listing on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq in the US. She is a Non-executive Director of Cambridge Spark, an edtech company that equips the workforce with critical data and AI skills, where she was previously CFO. She is also a Governor of the Perse School, Cambridge and holds an MA (Engineering and Management Studies) from Newnham College, Cambridge.

Growing up in Hong Kong, Angela had the wonderful opportunity to immerse herself in a huge variety of music activities at school. She rediscovered the joy of singing as an adult and sings with a local chamber choir regularly. Her association with the National Youth Choir started when her younger son joined the boys' choir aged 9 and she remained an National Youth Choir parent for the following 15 years!
