Thomas is a senior executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in broadcasting and digital media across the UK, US, and Middle East. His career includes overseeing strategic operations as Deputy Head of Studios at News UK, launching London Live as the capital’s first 24/7 television channel, and leading the production of live TV programmes and high-profile events during his tenure in the United States. Throughout his career, Thomas has been instrumental in driving organisational growth by improving efficiency and modernising production workflows.

Passionate about fostering emerging talent, he developed a graduate programme with the University of Westminster during his time at London Live and introduced an apprenticeship scheme at News UK. These initiatives reflect his commitment to equipping the next generation of media professionals with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

Born into a musical family, Thomas’s parents both studied music, and his father was a professional musician. He was awarded a full choral scholarship as a chorister at St. John’s College Choir, Cambridge, under the renowned George Guest. In addition to his choral achievements, Thomas played the violin, piano, and clarinet, further deepening his lifelong connection to music and its transformative power.

Thomas holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford. A member of Directors UK and a trustee of the Directors Charitable Foundation, he combines his professional expertise with a dedication to supporting creative and musical talent.
