Beethoven's Ninth by heart with Aurora Orchestra | National Youth Choir (18-25 Years)

Mark the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony with a signature memorised presentation and performance from Aurora, the BBC Singers, National Youth Choir and star soloists.

Beethoven’s final symphony is also his most powerful – a manifesto for social change, political upheaval and the limitless possibilities of human artistic expression. In collaboration with Actor Rhiannon May and Actor/BSL Interpreter Thomas Simper, Aurora celebrates joy and hope composed in the midst of hearing loss, illness and personal tragedy. Don't miss a signature bold, brilliant take on Beethoven’s symphonic journey, from brutality to the uplifting embrace of love.

Please note, this event is sold out, but a limited number of £10 tickets will be available to purchase at 10am on the morning of the performance. The same programme is being performed at the Proms and will be recorded for broadcast on BBC Four.
