At National Youth Choir, we want all young people to experience the life-changing power of singing together.
Through our Pathways work, we create opportunities for young people from all backgrounds to take part in high quality music-making together, regardless of their background or level of experience. For some people, this will be a first dip of a toe into the world of choral singing, whilst for others it will be about building on existing musical passions. Many will audition to join our National Youth Choirs; for everyone, we hope to nurture confidence, communities and a lifelong love of singing.
We are committed to supporting choral musicians at every stage of their career, from those emerging into the world of professional music to teachers and music leaders established in their field. Our bespoke Continuing Professional Development programmes are designed to equip choral musicians with new ideas, confdience and the toolkit they need to help all young people reach their potential.
