Hear from our Creative Director, Lucy, about how you can give the gift of singing to 50 young people in 2025 by supporting our Christmas Appeal this week. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to take part in high-quality music making, which is why we fundraise every year for our financial assistance programme. This programme makes it possible for young people from all backgrounds to access musical excellence regardless of their financial situation.

Whether you have a child in the National Youth Choir, whether you used to be in the choir yourself, or you just love choral music and want to see it flourish and grow - we need your help! Please share our appeal with your friends, families and connections, letting them know why you think it's so important for young people to have access to singing opportunities.

We are aiming to raise £60,000 in just seven days to support 22% of our membership who are in need of financial assistance to take part in our programmes. We can’t do this alone! We need donations from our wonderful community to help us unlock £30,000 in match-funding for our young singers. 

Donate before midday on 10 December and your support will be doubled pound for pound as part of the Big Give challenge.
