Following National Youth Choir's recent tour to South Africa, we are delighted that we have been able to make a gift of a piano to Fezeka High School Choir, through ticket sales from our tour concerts.

Integral to the South Africa tour was our partnership with the Fezeka High School Choir. These talented 12-18 year olds rehearsed and sang with us in the City Hall concert in Cape Town with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.

 The combined choirs wowed the Cape Town audiences and the standing ovation for the students from this choir from Guguletu was so well deserved. The musical sharing was so special and lasting friendships have now been made.

The one thing the Fezeka Choir Director, Monde Mdingi, mentioned to us was that they had no piano for their rehearsals and performances. National Youth Choir, through the ticket sales from the concerts, have been able to purchase this instrument to support their further studies and choir rehearsals.
