Last December, we raised another record amount of £66,592 through our Christmas Appeal and are once again looking to raise £60,000 for this year’s target. Crucially, the money raised will go towards our Financial Assistance Programme again this year.

22% of our membership are at risk of missing out on ensemble singing with the National Youth Choir due to
financial constraints. This means 22% of singers would not get access to all the benefits of high-quality ensemble singing - from increased confidence, to improved musicianship skills, to a sense of belonging - without our Financial Assistance Programme.

Donations to the National Youth Choir's 2024 Christmas Appeal will directly support 50 young people with household incomes under £25,000 in 2025, giving them access to life-changing musical experiences with a community of like-minded peers from across the UK.

This year, donations must be made from 3-10 December though our Big Give page, and will be matched pound for pound by The Big Give Trust and The Emily Fund, which means your one donation will have have twice the impact.
