Who we are

The National Youth Choir is the most inspirational and innovative organisation for young choral singers in the UK. We discover and nurture exceptional musical talent; provide unbeatable performance opportunities and world-class musical and leadership training to the widest possible range of young people in society; and give the spark to the next generation of singers, conductors and leaders who will take choral music into the future. For the purposes of these terms & conditions, the National Youth Choir will be referred to as ‘we’ from this point forward.

Using this website

You agree to use nationalyouthchoir.org.uk only for lawful purposes. You must also use it in a way that doesn’t infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of this site by anyone else. We update nationalyouthchoir.org.uk all the time, and may change or remove content at any time without notice.

Services and transactions

You can use nationalyouthchoir.org.uk to access information about our organisation and how it is run, our staff, our choirs, how to audition, our programmes and engagement, our concerts and events, our shop, and how you can support us. Our website also allows you to create a user account with us so that you can apply for certain services, make transactions online, and make donations and undertake fundraising activity online in support of the National Youth Choir.

One-off monetary transactions made on nationalyouthchoir.org.uk (shop purchases and one-off donations or fundraising activity) are handled by Stripe. Monies are transferred to the National Youth Choir by Stripe, minus a 1.4% +20p fee for European cards, and a 2.9% + 20p fee for non-European cards. T

Direct Debit payments made on nationalyouthchoir.org.uk (Direct Debit donations) are handled by GoCardless. Monies are transferred to the National Youth Choir by GoCardless, minus a fee of 1% per transaction up to a maximum of £2 and a minimum of 20p.

You can also use nationalyouthchoir.org.uk to indirectly purchase tickets and services from other providers such as box offices at concert venues. These providers will have their own privacy policies and terms & conditions, which you should read before you use their services.

Members of NYCGB’s choirs may additionally use nationalyouthchoir.org.uk to gain restricted access to their personal membership profile, where they may supply and update relevant personal information, and conduct other necessary membership administration and transactions.

We welcome and encourage other websites to link to nationalyouthchoir.org.uk, but you must contact us in advance to inform us you wish to do so, and if we ask you not to, you must refrain from doing so.
