Your donation will support free, easy to use, and fun online music resources for anyone who wants to start or develop a choir for young people. This includes primary schoolteachers who want to start or supercharge a choir with their pupils. This project aims to address the concerning lack of access to quality singing and music opportunities for many young people today. Your donation will help bring the joy of singing back into all young people’s lives.

Your support will help teachers supercharge singing in their schools. The digital resources are free and fun to use, giving teachers the confidence and the skills to lead singing in their schools. The first examples are available online now and are already popular with choir leaders.

A recent survey found that 36% of primary schools have no choir. Singing together has been proven to increase children's happiness, beat stress and build social connection. In an increasingly digital world, singing together is an embodied experience that grounds young people in their communities, helping them develop friendships and grow in confidence. Being in a choir teaches transferable skills such as focus, teamwork, communication and a willingness to try new things.

What your donation will do:

• The first £3,000 raised will support the creation and distribution of these amazing resources to teachers. 
• £6,000 will enable us to expand our online resources including creating exciting new songs tailor-made for different school ages and abilities. 
• £10,500 will connect a choral leader with a partner school to deliver teacher training, choir rehearsals and whole school singing sessions across an academic year.
• £13,000 will deliver in-depth teacher training to support teachers set up and run brilliant choirs in their schools. 

Whether we can do this and how many schools we can work with depends on the funds you are able to raise. We need your help to be able to pilot this project and support as many young people as possible. Any additional funds raised will underpin the charitable overhead costs associated with delivering this work.
