Job summary:

The National Youth Choir is looking to appoint a COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER. Working alongside the Head of Communications and the wider National Youth Choir family you'll be a creative, energetic and motivated individual with a good eye for detail who's keen to share the passion of our music-making to ever wider audiences.

You'll have a broad range of marketing and PR skills, but also be keen to learn new ones. You'll love working with digital media, including creating and sharing social media content, keeping the website fresh and engaging, and planning attractive e-marketing campaigns. You'll be part of sharing our growing library of digital music releases and be involved in commissioning new video content. You will play a key role in developing our new brand and visual identity and ideally have some experience in simple graphic design.

You may already have an interest in choral singing, music or creative opportunities for young people - or you may just come ready to learn about what a fantastic community we are.

We want to be a relevant and more representative organisation. We welcome applications from all sections of the community and from across the UK, and particularly from applicants who are from groups currently underrepresented in our workforce. This includes candidates from Black, Asian and other ethnically diverse backgrounds, or who identify as D/deaf or disabled.
